Four of us went for early Saturday breakfast. Location and view took my breath away. Decor was modern and funky. Young wait staff buzzed around, helpful and attentive. We ordered just about one of everything from breakfast menu. Thought dishes were quite innovative and presented a range of fresh ingredients cooked with flair. Portions were generous and plated creatively. Place had such a wonderful vibe and buzz. Visited from interstate and can only comment on breakfast. Did seem to be one of the more special places to be visited along the coast. Ticked all the boxes. Special.

This place has the location, the view, the concept and the vibe. What they need to do now us focus more on the things that will bring customers back again, quality food, great service and value for money.

Had a family dinner here to celebrate my mums 70th last Sunday. Booking was for 12 which they accommodated comfortably. Unfortunately the positioning of the table vs A/C unit fans meant half the table got blasted with really cold air all night which was really uncomfortable.

Our booking was for 6.30 and by the time they took our order- around 7pm they had already run out of 2 mains (from a very limited selection).

Of those that we could order, the fish main was good, the fish tacos better, the steak was average. Pizza was fine but like most of the dishes over-priced for what you received.

The share plate idea sounded good but none of the staff could really explain which dishes this applied to.

All in all there are better beachside options for a special night out.

Fri 8th dinner for 6 at 8pm. Must have been a busy night and best way to sum up our experience was lazy. Great menu, ok price, entrees were good. Mains poor. Rubbery, cold pork belly, dry pizza, cold pumpkin puree with a pumpkin salad. My charcoal fish was good, but the pea puree cold.
Service was lack lustre. Had to call for drinks on multiple occasions and waited 15 min for them.
Maybe the owners should stick to what they know best or just open for bfast because there are far better places to dine in perth for dinner. Wont be back, neither will 5 others.

The lamb was good, the special was not special (cod potatoes and some cherry tomato's) I guess it was as the waiter described. It took over an hour to get service. the food was ok but the service was lacking.
They dont do 'brunch' the breakfast menu stops at 11 am and the lunch menu starts at 12. so dont bother asking for eggs at 11:01 they are like McDonalds - sorry our breakfast menu is closed.

A relation tells me that Bib and Tucker is part owned by Eamon Sullivan. If so, he hasnt backed a winner here cos this place is stuck on the poolside starting blocks! Customers pay top dollar for ordinary food coupled with slow service. BIG menu of entree, snacks, pizza's etc but limited choice of mains. Some dishes are flowery cheffy ponce that just dont work leaving you wondering if they were actually tasted before going onto a menu. Kitchen ran out of several dishes early on during dinner service suggesting poor planning behind the counter. Good selection of beers & wines though. Decor is also confused. Swish inside but relaxed beachy tapas/cafe feel outside against laid back beachy views suggest B&T cant decide if its a restaurant or a beachside cafe??? Venue can be difficult to locate if you're unaware it's at the Freo Surf Club as signage is poor and barely visible from the street. Cant recomend as B&T just doesnt live up to the hype...
