We walked along the harbor and on the trails - I wish we had allowed more time. We walked to Bob's Bay and back, but it was getting dark. I would have liked to go all the way out to the end of the peninsula.
You could see horseshoe tracks on the trail - people must ride horses on the trail, but I can't imagine how they get under the branches! Even I had to duck down from time to time.
- Allow sufficient time - it's cooler than you think!
- There are two tracks - upper and lower - I recommend taking lower one way and upper on the way back. The lower track has a better view of the water, but the upper track has some beautiful natural greenery (and shade).
- The trails are mostly just dirt (watch out for roots). Wear sensible shoes (boots not required).
- Parts are pretty muddy when it rains.
