We've been to Sequoia Lodge a few times now and I love it. The staff are friendly and really helpful, there's heaps of space and great clean kitchen facilities. Love the outdoor courtyard, the hammocks, the games and mags and fireplace - all of it. It's great value for money and we'll definitely be going back next time we pass through Picton.

to ensure you have a good stay at Sequoia lodge. I think it was the best breakfast buffet i had in NZ hostel, i also crave for the chocolate cake and ice crem offered nightly, i definetely appreciate to have the bathroom in the bedroom. Really clean. And staff kind and helpful.
i also enjoyed using the free bikes of the hostel and the spa under the star. good value for money for sure !

I would recommend this place to any traveler. Very friendly staff, very clean, modern rooms, clean bathrooms, and especially quiet at night.
The kitchen is full of utensils and everything works well, lots of room to move around. There are outside areas to chill out quietly as well as plenty of room inside too.
What i found really good was that theres free Wi-Fi for everyone and free chocolate and ice cream pudding for everyone every night!.... amazing value for such a nice place.
It is a bit further out from the center but its in a lovely quiet square away from any noise or road traffic... 10 out of 10 for me !!!
