Myself and partner stayed at portage, whilst walking the QCT. The area is beautiful and is situated in the keneperu sounds. Reception area and generally meeting building where restaurant ect is , is very modern. The room was a little mix match, wooden but with lime colour and drastic head boards( which were missi half there buttons). The water was lovely to have a little dip in but due to high amount of jellyfish which are harmless we headed for the pool. Looks small but has a deep end which was surprising. All you need there ow is a spa tub, theirs plenty of room! Dinner... Starters we ordered pork And breads, was yummy! Maybe a little tight on the scallops, main course beef and lamb. These two courses were a let down. The lamb wasa. Mix match dish, rack with course cous, with deconstructed Greek salad placed around the plate. Beef was acceptable, slightly over cooked, and there werea bout 5 green beans and the rest was just beets! A paste/glue purée on the plate. We skipped dessert.
Breakfast was okay, we had continental included in our package, my real only true let down was it was a buffet and there were flies all over it.
Would I stay again, yes but supply packed dinner :) More
