We have eaten at Te Whau over the past 10 years with wonderful memories with family and friends and we still have no complaints.
Tony, Moira, Merlot and Malbec (the family cats meet & greet guests) make all the difference to the experience.
Stunning sea views, extensive wine selection (the Te Whau Chardonnay 2012 is quite something). To add to the mix, they're growing their own vegetation for use in the restaurant too which is a plus using local produce.
I would like to see more dishes that cater to coeliacs with nut allergies though, which is difficult for a foodie who could once eat nuts and gluten!
You won't regret visiting Te Whau, an experience in more ways than one. Well done, keep up the good work, we'll be back as always.
