“Great casa!”
Reviewed 8 January 2013

I always wonder when all the previous reviews are rated excellent. Are they possibly all relatives?? Now I know- this was a terrific casa particular!! The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. The food was really good, the garden area was amazing and the colonial architecture terrific. We were even invited to join in a family birthday feast which was a lot of fun! Their new address is:-

We hadn't booked ahead and there were no rooms available when we got there. The owner was extremely helpful and directed us to another BB just few steps away. He also allowed us to visit his house which is undoubtedly beautiful!

We stayed here for 4 nights and from the time we were met at the bus until the day we left it was perfect, and amazing value. By far the best and cheapest Casa we stayed in in Cuba. A beautifully restored home with an amazing patio garden to enjoy your meals in. Our hosts Manuel and Elisabeth made us very welcome, organised trips, provided great food and were extremely generous for my wife's birthday. The location is excellent and rooms fine - it has to be the number one in Trinidad.

Our best stay in Cuba ! Do not hesitate one minute to book this casa, it is a very very charming place. Daniela is a welcoming and charming person and she prepares succulent food . Also, do not hesitate to go with her for the 1 day horse excursion in the valley de los Ingenios, one of our best moments during our trip ! Trinidad was our prefered location in all Cuba, such a lovely town, and of course this was also due to our stay in this casa.

Thank you Daniela, we'll come back for sure and send all our friends !

V.

We travelled around Cuba for 15 nights in Nov and our stay here was truly a highlight. Not only was the food the best we had during our whole stay but the welcome was warm, the room lovely and the casa and garden amazing. We were sceptical about staying in a casa as our Spanish is poor but Manuel spoke excellent English and was so accommodating. He helped arrange a trip to Valle de Los Ingenios and then onto the beach at Playa Ancon. I can't recommend this casa enough.... Oh it's also perfectly located, central but not at all noisy. Go!

Excellent reception by Manuel and family, this is a not to be missed experience. The indoor courtyard is a tropical oasis, the food, excellent. Rooms are very spacious and bathrooms impressive for cuba. I have lived in Cuba for two years and this is the best place I have stayed at!
Love it!

Room Tip: Stay on the indoor patio, street noise is a problem in the other room. Country life starts early.
