The beach at this hotel is absolutely stunning, but that is about all it has going for it. The service was inattentive, with long waits at the limited bar options for drink which just wasn't quite right. I don't know what they were using for "rum", but the cocktails all had a strange chemical after taste and were not at all pleasant. Ended up sitting on sofas in the lobby area because neither of the two bars were welcoming. Room was nice enough, but overlooked the pool "entertainment" area, so attempting to give up on the dodgy cocktails and retire to my room for an early night was a non-starter.
Trinidad is fabulous, but stay elsewhere if you want to visit. And if you want a luxurious all-inclusive Cuban experience, there must be better options on the island.More
