There they were, the famous coloured snail shells. We met some locals in the Sierra Cristal trying to sell us this forbidden souvenir. But here we saw that what they presented there was fake. The real ones are far more delicate each with a unique print.
Besides stuffed animals from all over the world many native species, we especially also liked the vast collection of butterflies. The ladies of the museum were kindly willing to explain which species were Cuban, still living and wich extinct.
So if you missed much of Cuba's splendid nature, don't miss this museum.
