My husband and I did the Methuselah Trail. It was an amazing hike. It makes you a little short winded if you are from a low elevation like us. We used the hike to get better acclimated to do the Mt Whitney Trail in Lone Pine. The trees are amazing to photograph. It is amazing to think that the bristlecones are between 3000-4600 years old! It is just amazing that they are the oldest living things on the planet living in such a dry climate.
