“Nice Little Spot”

Mingo National Wildlife Refuge
Ranked #893 of 1,560 things to do in Missouri
Reviewed 1 July 2014 via mobile

Had a good time down here with the family. Went here in an effort to go fishing but ended up not doing so well. Great place for kids to fish and be able to catch something though. Most were not worth keeping unfortunately. This would be a great place to spend a lunch or something underneath the large tree at May Pond. The auto tour portion of the park was open and quite enjoyable without much traffic. Saw plenty of wildlife; deer and fawns, raccoons, cranes, turtles and such. Was a good time and would probably go back again.

Me, the wife and 10 year old had a nice walk. Plenty of plant and wildlife to look at. They have nice paved trails for bikes.
