I read some other reviews of the towers that might give the impression that this hike is difficult or not worthwhile . That was not our experience at all. I am 72, my wife is in her 60s. Most of our hiking is done in the mountains of the southeast chasing waterfalls. We spent 10 days in Utah from Zion to Moab hiking at every opportunity and we found hiking in Utah to be both fun and physically reasonably easy for us. If you spend all your time on a couch and then go on a vacation where a lot of exercise is suddenly required you are going to have a hard time. Fisher Towers is a beautiful place. It is totally unlike Arches NP which you, like everyone else, will probably visit. Do yourself a favor and drive out early so you will be getting there just as the sun begins to come up. I got incredible, for me, sunrise photos. There is no real destination to the hike there. You are basically looking at some huge rock spires out in the middle of nowhere from all different angles at different distances. If you start to get tired, turn around and head back. You will probably get to see rock climbers doing their thing on the Towers. This was one of our favorite places/hikes in Utah. For us, way better than Zion, it was a great hike.
