“Olympic Discovery Trail, from Port Angeles to Sequim Wa”
Reviewed 25 October 2012

Former railroad trail converted to biking trail. Section of trail documented is from Coho Ferry terminal in Port Angeles,Wa to Sequim State Park to the east. Nice diverse trail traveling along the Salish Sea, over old railroad bridges, and through neighborhood parks. Great day trip for bikers that may want to bike from ferry terminal in Port Angeles to Sequim State Park and stay at hiker/biker campsites. For video of trail from Port Angeles to Sequim. See:

“Nice bike ride”
Reviewed 15 June 2012

We entered the Olympic Discovery Trail near the ferry terminal in Port Angeles and cycled about 6 mi. mostly along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Paved trail turns to gravel in several stretches. We turned around at the end of a railroad trestle over a creek. This trail is a wonderful way to experience Olympic Peninsula's beauty! Toilets are at the trail head in Port Angeles. The website probably gives location of other facilities along the way.
