“Outstanding!”

Incredibly well-thought out, well laid-out museum. Interesting, great for families. Especially loved the Pulitzer Prize winning photo gallery.. incredibly moving. Also has a wonderful 9/11 Memorial area, and a hug section of the Berlin Wall. Do not miss!

“You have to experience it to understand it”

It's hard to describe what makes the Newseum so enjoyable, but it's a must-see. Our kids (14 & 12) enjoyed it too. One thing to note is the cafeteria - there's lots of selection and some healthy choices too, but it was the most expensive meal we had in DC.

I want to be journalist one day and this museum was just perfect for me. But I am sure if you are interested about news and old news and important stuff what happend on Earth, you should go here. They are maiking often new expositions. You can try to ne a TV reporter, go to see a movie and do lot´s of more greta thing here. Newseum is one of the best museums where I have ever been to.

“Looking forward to another visit.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2014

I was wondering why tickets are good for 2 days but I get it now. We spent so much time at the exhibits that before we knew it, the museum was about to close! For $23 per person, it's worth a visit. The Berlin Wall and 9/11 exhibits were really interesting with lots to read and documentaries to watch. It was nice to see all the Pulitzer Prize winning photographs as well. We'd definitely visit again as there were some exhibits we didn't get to see.

“A terrific museum for history buffs”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2014

A great place to spend several hours. Well laid out museum offers a wonderful overview of the major news stories of the 19th to 21st centuries. You can easily spend 4 hours going through all of the exhibits. Not sure if this would excite the younger (under 16) crowd unless there is a deep interest in news and history. The Pulitzer photos are absolutely amazing - a must see!
