The only saving grace of this tour is the fact that you are in the White House and that's impressive. Taken in through a side door, if you didn't know you were in the WH you wouldn't know you were in the WH. the tour is quick, essentially self guided and you get no or little feel for the stately grandeur that the official photogs seem to be able to make out of the smallish rooms. We were in and out in less time then it took to pass security (and we had express privilages via a Government contact. Carpets are pulled up and you get the impression that they let you in because they have to. If you REALLY want to see the WH, you have to know someone that works there - otherwise you get a dissapointing tease and little feel for the greatest address in America.
