This was the best part of our DC trip. This museum is sobering, thought-provoking, heart-wrenching, horrifying, uplifting and something which should be experienced by all adults. Not sure how much a child can gather from the experience, but I was impressed that the children in the permanent exhibit were kept in check by their parents and acted respectfully.
