The Archives are a great way to look at the ways our country took shape. The Bill of Rights, Constitution, and Declaration of Independence are all there, along with the British document the Magna Carta. All original copies with facts behind them. A must stop.

If you're ever feeling unpatriotic, visit this museum. It reminded me of how all of our freedoms have come from ordinary people working together to gain them. Very interesting exhibits. You can easily spend an entire day.

It is a must to attained during the weekday. Went on a Sunday and the Ancestry area was closed. The real US Constitution, The Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights are displayed behind secured cases. I was awestruck with all these articles and the facts behind them. The displays and interacting areas were marvelous. It is a MUST do area in the Mall.

My daughter and I stopped by for a visit just before closing (5:30pm), not on purpose, we thought it stayed open later. The best thing about it was there were no lines to see any if the historical documents. The guards will tell you there are no lines in the area to see the Declaration so feel free to mill around. What an incredible experience.

The museum was not crowded and the layout was easy to follow. It was an amazing feeling to see original historical documents that formed our great country of America.
