Took a pack of kids here during Labor Day 2017 and they had a great time.

Lots to do, diversity of activities, dining choices, and easy to get to via metro.

Highly recommended!

Great musuem to see the history of U.S. flight. MANY historical aircraft to see. We also viewed the movie of the D-Day invasion of WW II. Tickets are $9.00 ($8.00 for seniors 60+, need to ask for that discount). There are many other movies available too. Purchase the tickets upon arrival at the musuem so you will then have time to tour the museum while waiting for your movie’s schedule time. Great history of the birth of flightto space exploration. Spend as much time as you want as you walk through the exhibits. Note that there is no place to get food within this musuem. Food option is the American Indian musuem next door, or in the underground walkway between the two National Gallery of Art buildings on the opposite side of the Mall. Allow at least 2 - 3 hours + to really enjoy it.

Spent the morning here, and this museum is one of my favourite in Washington. There is lots to see and you could easily spend a day here. Definitely a must see place to go!

If you are an aviation enthusiast or just enjoy the engineering and history that goes into the development of flight this is a place you must stop. I highly recommend that you arrive 15-30 minutes before 10:00am as they get busy quick.

The exhibits are really well laid out and to move from section to section is done with ease. There is a lot to see so plan ahead as to how you will tackle each of the sections and attend any of the shows, VR or simulation experiences. There are several opportunities to purchae souveniers in each section and the overhead of the buidling is filled with old and newer aircraft including military type drones.

This is defintley one of my favorite spots and I could spend the entire day in here just carefully taking in each of the exhibits one after the other and trying to experience every aspect of it to get the full experience.

Went through and this place is ALOT smaller than I remember as a child! Not much has changed either. Still a VERY educational experience and if you have never been it is a MUST SEE!!!! Great for small children as they have workshops specifically for them!
