“A Fabulous Venue”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

Treat yourself to a concert here, whether is be the National Symphony or the opera. The outside of the building is not much to look at, but the inside is glamorous with it's wide red hallways and glass chandeliers. There are shuttles to the Center if you don't want to make the short walk to the Metro stop. Check around for them.

“Came to see Aida here...”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

I visited The Kennedy Center a few years ago and we had the pleasure of seeing the play, Aida. It was visually incredible and we had a wonderful time!

“best shows”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

best shows around with world class status.
not many theaters in the US/world that come as big as this name.
if you can, catch a show, if not, still go and check out the grounds.
views down by the potomac river are nice.

“What a view!”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

This was one of our biggest suprises in DC. Was not what we expected to see, so much better.
The top floor has a outside porch that goes all around the buildind the veiw of DC is out of this world! Our tour was great and we learned so much more than we could have dreamed.
The building is so nice inside has all the country flags of the US friends in one hall, beautiful.
The lights are also very beautiful. You will need to plan ahead and book the tour so you get all the great info about the building and shows.
Another point there is a shuttle bus from the metro to the Kennedy center you will need to go on this as it is very much out of the way from other attractions.
Each night in the Summer they have a free concert!

“Shows are great!”

Great shows! Nice gift shop. Great views of the river. Free concerts every afternoon. Be sure to get tickets in advance - unless you don't mind taking a chance.
