There are free activities here every evening at 6pm. The tour is worth it, you get to see many of the stages/ theaters which are beautiful and impressive. The view from the rooftop terrace is gorgeous. There is a quick, free trolley from the foggy bottom Metro directly to the JFK Center. This ended up being one of my favorite tours.

One of the most unique memorials in town, this one to the youngest president who was assassinated in Dallas during his first term. It is unique in that it contains five active theaters that house the National Symphony, National Opera, two for plays and small concerts and a movie theater. It also has a fine dining and an upscale cafeteria. There are free performances of different types in the lobby every day.

Went to see the Navy Band perform country at the Millennium Stage (free concert). If you like country music you'll love this! They were outstanding! Only sang for an hour and I could have listened much longer!

Excellent facility and performance of The Lion King. Had dinner at the RoofTop, which was excellent.
