The convention center is HUGE! Nice accommodations for larger groups. Location great, you can walk to a variety of restaurants and shops. On the bus line, near the train, cabs and several hotels.

Plenty of room to host a large group. Close to everything a traveler needs. Buses, Taxi, and Metro at the front door.

Have been here celebrating my sorority's 100th anniversary for past 4 days. The convention center and the city have pulled out all the stops to make us feel welcome. Since there are over 30,000 of us here, (no that is not a typo), I want to give a heart felt thanks to the all I have had interactions with, from the ticket takers in the metro booths, taxi cab drivers, restaurant waiters and waitresses and the convention center staff. Your patience, professionalism and acknowledgement of why we are is heart warming. You folks know how to host a celebration!

this is an excellent venue to conduct various events with huge crowds. the massive facilities enable different events to be held simultaneously without disturbing each other.

Spent 3 days here. This is a beautiful but not especially "user friendly" conference center. Here are a few tips
a. There is much more seating on the 2nd floor. Hard to place on the first floor to sit and talk with one or two others (a key part of a conference).
b. There are two huge buildings, across the street from eachother. In case of bad weather, there is a sky-bridge connecting them.
c. It would be nice if the conf center would designate North or South rooms. But they don't. So you will have to look carefully at the map to determine if a 1st or 2nd floor room is in the north or south building
d. As others have noted, it's tough to find water fountains.
e. There is a metro stop at the south end of the southern building. This is very convenient.
f. There is a fed ex office inside the conference center. So you can ship things into & out of the Center.
g. As you would expect, the Center is handicapped accessible. But it takes a bit to find elevators.
