This is a beautiful and extensive memorial that slowly reviews the highlights and soul of the four presidential terms of FDR. This memorial was more breathtaking to me than the large flashy memorials - it is very human and very raw and very beautiful. I recommend reading a book on FDR or at least watching a good documentary before you visit, and then enjoy the amazing symbolic beauty of the site. It's especially gorgeous as evening falls on the city.
