If you love plants of any kind this place is a must!! There are so many different plants to see. I learned a lot in the medicinal plant room, including what the quinine tree looked like. And the orchids were so beautiful. The jungle room is amazing, it's like being on another planet.

This is like a big Green House, Mini Forrest, Giant Garden with full of plants.

It has a 2nd floor to be able to appreciate the different types of plants..

Fruits hanging from their trees are real.

So cold and fresh inside this Botanical Garden.

The miniature of the the tourist attractions in DC are so cute.

Employees herein are so accommodating.

While there are ample amounts of plants to view, I recommend the east or west halls for someone who needs a rest. Ample seating and air conditioned.

Otherwise, a good number of exhibits will keep someone occupied for at least an hour.

If you are a botanical garden conoisseur, it's an okay visit. It's a great representation of all that America has. But due to his size limit, it's not big. But for what they have it's a great little place, with great ambiance, romantic benches and nooks. The music was interestingly outstanding and matched the ambiance inside.

There is a lot of good stuff packed into this small garden. Like most Washington attractions, this one is free and it’s interesting. They have plants from all over the world and there is always something blooming. The jungle and desert areas are particularly interesting. If you compare the National Botanic Garden to those in many cities, you might be a bit disappointed, but it is worth a visit and a nice place to sit and enjoy nature. If you are near the Capitol, it’s too close to ignore. They also have a nice little exhibit just for children.
