If hot dogs are your thing, you'll really enjoy this nostalgic DC-3 airplane themed hot dog joint. The narrow, casual restaurant is decked out in TWA-esque retro decor, complete with a giant airplane propellor and airline route map on the wall.
The dogs are really good, and of course, being a DC hot dog store, they offer a half-smoke. The could get a little more creative with their toppings. For example, how 'bout some mayo, or exotic (for hot dogs) cheeses like feta or gruyere?
The french fries are out of this world and steal the show from the hot dogs, in my opinion. It would be great if they added some dipping cheese for them.
The creativity in the food does flourish in the sides, however. Want a fried Oreo or pickle? Look no further.
Brought to you by the same folks who created DC success stories Ted's Bulletin and Matchbox, Eat DC-3's likely to score a win too. I think you'll like it.
