This is a wonderful respite in the middle of Rock Creek Park--feels like a million miles from the hustle and bustle of the Mall but really is quite close t upper Connecticut Avenue. Fascinating home tour with eye-popping French and Russian art/artifacts, as well as glimpses into Ms. Post's personal wardrobe closet. Fabulous gardens and decent on-site cafe. Only downers: accessible by car only (plenty of parking) and entrance fee.
