We spent 8 nights in the Malu room with a shared bath. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, the king sized bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. However, it was the personal touch and a high level of service that made this place special. In addition to the airport pickup and Amtrak station dropoff, David was there to shuttle us to and from the metro station throughout our stay. Chef George's breakfasts were exceptional and varied including fresh fruit, eggs made to order, sausages, hash browns, homemade apple butter, etc. On the morning of our departure, we were provided with freshly baked banana bread for our train trip (and this was after breakfast!) Both David and George went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our time in DC. We truly felt like we were staying with friends and thoroughly enjoyed our morning chats! We will be back!
