We stayed at the Hampton Inn for 6 nights over the New Year period. We arrived from the Amtrak train around 11am and we were greeted warmly by the front desk staff who had us checked in within minutes.

Our room was a good size and the beds were the most comfortable beds that we have every slept on (we wish we could have brought these beds home with us!).

The hotel is located in the Chinatown district and is only 2 blocks from the Verizon Centre. Public transport (including the circulator) stops nearby.

Rooms were very clean & the beds were extremely comfortable. The free daily breakfast offered a wide assortment of foods- something for everyone! Easy walking distance to attractions and great restaurants. Staff was friendly and very accomodating.

We have stayed at this hotel before and have never had a problem. This hotel makes sure they do the "little things" to make it extra special. For example: Calling our room a few minutes after arriving to see if everything was up to par? Providing warm/soft cookies at the front desk during the evening hours and always having coffee/tea available at any point in the day. The breakfast has always been outstanding with servers constantly and consistently replenishing food/drinks/cutlery. It is perfectly situated to the D.C. Mall and the pool/hot tub was clean and open until 10 pm.
Bottom line......do NOT hesitate to think twice about choosing this hotel, because you will be treated like royalty throughout your stay.

We stayed in this hotel as it was the just 100m from the drop-off point for the MVP bus from New York. The welcome was friendly, the Wi-Fi speedy, the jacuzzi was great and the king size bed was honestly the most comfortable I've ever slept in - helped of course by 6 hours of walking while sight-seeing during the day :)

Based in Chinatown it was just a 20-25 minute walk to the White House. The breakfast was included in the price and the only slight negative was that all the breakfast cutlery/crockery was disposable but even that wasn't enough to mark this hotel down!
