I play Langston all the time. It's a good value within DC. The course is national parks course so it's not in tip top shape but for the money it's good course. The back nine is very nice. The course borders the national arboretum and the anticosta river. Play the back tees and its a good course. However, since is a decent value, you will see a lot of hackers out there if you go during the weekend at peak times. I encourage you to either go early or late on the weekends. The course is in an transitioning part of DC but once on the grounds, don't worry.
There is a lot of history with the course and great African American golfers.
Another great reason why the course it a favorite, is the grill. I have been here when there was 5 people on the course but the parking lot was full with people eating at the course. Good value but not the healthiest.
