My husband and I visited this hotel over the forth of July weekend and was blown away at the excellent customer service i could hardly believe that this had just opened!!!!! Sarah checked us in and gave us a tour and was surprised how well she knew the hotel, later Loubna (may be spelled wrong) offered us great drinks and made me feel at home, also the next morning when we had breakfast the kitchen staff did a excellent job of catering to the chaos which was an over populated breakfast, a young lady by the name of Heather constantly came out to refill food, drinks, etc. and check on guest going as far as asking us about our stay and bussing tables.on At our checkout Sarah was there and she seemed sad to see us go genuinely and made feel like she did care, but don't worry miss Sarah with service like this we will be back. see you guys soon !!!!!!

Room Tip: we choose the highest floor if you aren't afraid of hieghts its quieter and interesting view

Had originally planned to stay 7-4-12 but called the morning of the 3rd and asked to come in early. Shirley found us a room for the same price and answered all my MANY questions.Ask for the GPS address. You come to the "back" to check in and unload. We may have used the front door 2 times our whole stay. We came in very late so we couldn't get the view we wanted that night but the next morning Shirley and the hotel manager, Stacy, worked several minutes on getting us a room w/ a great view for the rest of our stay. Could not get 2 queens but that was my fault for not booking further in advance. They did try. Considering the growing pains they had to go through, through not fault of their own, in the first week Stacy and her entire staff went above and beyond! First vacation to DC and only run into 2 unkind people the whole time and neither were at this hotel. Breakfast was exceptional! Loved they way Stacy got in there to help her staff on a filled to capacity holiday weekend. She definitely didn't mind gettting her hands dirty and we thought it was great the way she praised her team on a job well done. She remembered our name every time we saw her. She and her entire staff was kind, courteous, and helpful our entire stay on 8 nights.
Rooms- nice and roomy, loved the frig and Directv and big screen, towels felt like I was drying off with a cloud they were so soft.
Wifi- fast for wifi, only got disconnected a couple of times. Didn't like having to sign in every 24hours though.
Pool- small but nice. Was out of towels one night. I called front desk and within 10 minutes towels were there.
Workout equipment- very nice.
Bussiness center- very handy when in need of a printer.
Parking- a bit pricey ($30 plus tax for valet w/ anytime unlimited in and outs) and they have limited space but there is other parking to be had close by
Location- a block and a half from metro Noma(NY Ave) station. Station manager Joe Winston was most kind to us. Went out of his way showing us how to buy and use the cards. Do not drive in DC unless you love and can handle traffic! Metro short trip card is the way to go if staying more than a couple of days. It's good for 7 days and will get you all around DC metro train stops.DC should be walked and we did a lot.Noma is only one stop north of Union Sta.
We checked out a day early but only because I promised my son we'd go to Kings Dominion on the way home if the weather was nice otherwise we'd have stayed another night. We have stayed at MANY hotels through the years but have never been this impressed w/ a hotel esp. this staff!

Room Tip: all rooms are good but Up high w/ capitol view is best view.

This was a nice hotel. It was clean and the staff were friendly. You can tell that it is an area of the city that is facing improvements (graffiti and transients every where). Felt safe with my family though. I would have liked more variety at the breakfasts though.

We stayed at this hotel from July 5 - 10, 2014. It is brand new. Very, very clean room and bathroom, nice bedding, very plush towels. The two queen bed room is a good size, with a couch that turns into a bed. Refrigerator in room, and coffeemaker, but we never used coffeemaker because of free breakfast. Full breakfast is served every day with a variety of hot items. Breakfast also includes fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, bagels, etc. Staff (including Teemon, Alex and Demetrius) are all excellent. They really are trying to get to know the guests, and make them feel welcome. Hotel is two blocks from the NoMa Gallaudet station, so it's convenient to take the Metro anywhere from there. Do not plan on walking to main attractions from hotel, it's much too far. The closest is the Capital, but there is a lot of walking in DC, and taking the Metro saves a lot of walking. If you need to use your car, valet gets car quickly. Hotel is within two or three blocks of several restaurants, and a CVS. Fairly fast Wi-fi and it's free. Free use of 3 computers and printer in lobby. I would hightly recommend this hotel, based on it's staff, new accomodations, and location to Metro station.

Room Tip: We were on 7th floor, and elevators are fast. City noise is unavoidable, but choosing a higher floor may help.

The hotel was only one week old when we checked it. Lovely place and super nice staff. Lovely room with a nice sitting area; great bed and nice bathroom with very plush towels. The full hot/cold breakfast was terrific!! The gym and pool was nice. Everything was super clean. The hotel is located one block away from the Red line and a block away from a couple of decent restaurants and a terrific supermarket when you can buy dinner at a really good price.
The only small problem we had was with getting a cab to get us to a very early White House tour. Because the place is so new, the cab drivers didn't know where the place was and never showed up. We had to go out onto a main street and hail one down that finally stopped. They're still working out some kinks, but it's definitely worth staying here.

Room Tip: Not sure - we were on the 7th floor and it was lovely and large - no complaints about the room.
