This is a classic Belgian brasserie with delicious food. The mussels were wonderful. The cassoulet was one of the best I have had on this side of the Atlantic. It is a short walk away from the convention center and is reasonably priced for the quality of food and service.

Outstanding beer list complemented by a fantastic menu. I did think, however, that our waitress was a little too eager to up-sell us on some menu items. For example, the small charcuterie plate would have been plenty for two people, but she told us to splurge on the big one, and much of the goodies went untouched.

It's a little pricey but good food. If you want to feel like you are in Brussels, you might get that feeling here. They have European foods like pate.

Was there with my partner for an impromptu celebration dinner. Ordered champagne. The waiter was 100% completely clueless about it, did not know how to pronounce it, when popping the cork, it exploded, which should never happen except in the movie "The Posidien Adventure".. on a $180 bottle of Heidsieck. Was aggravating beyond belief. He was a very nice guy, but I blame management for not training the wait staff properly on their wine selections if they are going to charge those prices. Shame on whomever is in charge of the beverages there.

On the plus side, we order the chorizo and prawns, crepes florentine, scallops and octupus. All were astoundingly good. A 5 star for sure. Along with the mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwich, which was phenomenal.

The Fail ... The Croque Madame. Egg was not cooked properly. The sandwich itself was exceedingly dense. The pomme frites, otherwise known as French Fries, were great and the trio of mayo's was a great idea... but between the sandwich and the fries, it was so heavy with fat, that they need some type of acidic element to cut through. Hell, even a pickle would have been great.

Overall, great food, spotty service, work on the non-seafood items please.

November 2011 - Happy with my massive serve of mussels that I couldn't finish. Glass of Rose was good too. Husband had the pork chop, also massive portion. Overall happy but it wasn't amazing.
