This hotel is in a great location, only a block from a major highway to access DC, and only about 5 blocks from the National Mall and Capital Hill areas. Our room had two double beds and a pull out queen sofa, making it very workable for our family. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet and had a great TV.
The hot breakfast buffet was good, even if there were lines there just a bit at times. Also, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
The only negative for the hotel was that the parking was $45+tax each night. Rather expensive, but the only overnight parking we found that was convenient to the hotel.
One fun item was that we found the hotel to be next door to NASA administrative headquarters. They have a nice little library (with some small space related items), and gift shop that are open to the public.
If you book at this hotel, be aware that the check in desk is on the third floor. Below the hotel is fire station. They seemed good about not turning on their sirens until they were away from the hotel, but you might want a higher floor just in case.More
