The location of this hotel cannot be beat. It is in the heart of Georgetown. The lobby is very nice and the staff are very friendly. Our room was pretty and spacious, but there were many problems. First, the TV didn't work well. We tried several times to get a picture by turning it off and on, but only got sound. The engineer came, who was able to get it to work by himself turning it off and on numerous times. He said that it is a common problem. Also, the A/C was very noisy, with occasional loud grinding sounds. Finally, the bathroom had more plumbing problems than any hotel I've ever stayed in, which I reported to the front desk. First, the toilet kept running. Second, the sink faucet was ridiculously hard to pull on. Finally, the drain in the shower wouldn't unplug. The shower is very small, yet has a side as high as a bathtub side. Maybe it's supposed to also be a bathtub for a very small child. In any case, since the water wouldn't drain, the tub portion filled up to our shins while showering, which was unpleasant. Good way to make sure the showers are short.
