Boutique hotel is a great price, in a very convenient location. Rooms/lobby/restaurant very sweet, nice atmosphere. Continental breakfast was included and big...good coffee too. Room was small but very clean and quiet, bathroom seemed new. Pillows were not great. Service wasn't very good....booked and prepaid for 2 nights but they thought we were only staying one ....and called our room at 10pm that night to tell us we should have checked out already. Had to go down to front desk and provide proof of payment, booking details etc. It was one lady in particular and she was not very helpful.
Would definitely stay here again, just really double check they have your details correct.

I stayed one night, before checking into my other conference hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Gym had only 4 or so treadmills/bikes, but they looked very good quality with built in TV. Restaurant/bar is nice – had a light meal only, but staff was nice and live music. It’s only a few minutes walk to major attractions. I would book here again if I had the chance. Free wireless.

We stayed at this hotel for the Memorial Day weekend. The price was very good for Washington's hotel prices, $99.00 a night. There is a metro station nearby (10 min walking). Walking to The Mall will take around 20 min.
We got a room at the 6th floor (room 613) facing main street. Not a lot of noise.
The room was very confortable and big. The bathroom was very good (and I am very picky when it comes to bathrooms).
We walked to go to places at night but it's too quiet in the neighboorhood. I would recommend a cab.
I would stay there again

Wife and I with friends stayed here for two nights (weekday) the first week of June 2010. Basic room was $250 per night (including tax), parking with tax was $37 per night. Hotel is nicely decorated and a very good location, can walk to all attractions. The room had a small refrigerator kept inside the night table (somewhat tacky). Went to the bar at 10:00 PM for a Budweiser, beer cost $7.70-FOR ONE BEER! I do not recommend this hotel, much to costly for what you get.

The refigerator was quite noisy so I had to plug out it. It would be much better if hotel put a desk instead of extra drawers. However I really enjoyed my stay and advise Henley Park hotel . It was cleean, staff was nice. It is a very well maintained historical hotel and walking distance to convention center if you travel for meeting there.

Good location, nice ambiance, historically significant. Beds are very comfortable. There is a lot of noise from the streets if you sleep lightly and like to open the windows. AC is quiet and efficient. The water pressure is not strong and the lighting in the bathroom is not good for make up, as per my wife. I thought it was fine for shaving. I would definitely stay here again if I had a DC trip on the horizon.

Should of written this review when it was fresh now that a year and half of past and the memory seems to get a little foggier each year. I spent a lot of time review and deciding on what type of hotel (almost went w/Sofitel) for this surprise birthday trip. Couldn't of been happier w/the decision. This boutique hotel has tons of charm and the staff especially Derick Speight went out of their way to make this trip memorable and special for my wife. We felt very safe in the area and you could walk 3-5 blocks to lots of restaurants and things to see and of course the metro makes getting around super easy. Would be nice if the place was a little closer to a stop but the hotel was built first. If we get another chance to come back to the DC area this place will at the top of the list.
