No refrigerator in our room. This might seem incredibly nit-picky, but my workplace was spending $235 per night for this hotel (four nights, plus about $50 per day for parking) and there wasn't even a mini-fridge in our room. It just blew my mind.
On the bright side, the location was fantastic and the conference center itself was great. We were close to Union Station and conceivably within walking distance of the national mall (Capital, Smithsonian museums, etc). We ate in the bar at one point (chicken quesadilla- tasty and not super expensive) and they were kind enough to hold our luggage when we had to check out prior to the last fe hours of the conference. Also, there is a FedEx center right in the hotel, which came in super handy when I realized I had forgotten my business cards for the event- they were able to make copies for me.
Just couldn't get past the fact that we didn't have a fridge! For that price, I expected a small kitchen...!More
