My son and I stayed here for two nights before heading off to DC. We got a good price online and thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable room. It's an older building that has its unique charms, and is much unlike the run-of-the-mill hotels we typically frequent. We found the staff friendly and helpful and experienced no issues during our stay.
The location was also nice. It's walking distance from the DuPont Circle station, though the walk to the hotel is a bit up hill, which added a small degree of difficulty with luggage in tow. There are lots of small shops and restaurants nearby, but the neighborhood directly around the hotel has more of a residential feel, and made returning to the hotel feel a bit like returning home.
My son enjoyed the hotel so much he wanted to stop in again for a quick visit when we returned to DC for our flight home. We look forward to staying here again for our next visit to DC.More
