Dear Joshua B,
We are extremely sorry to learn you feel our immediate response to your slip was uncaring. When our team witnessed you slip they rushed to your aid and provided all the assistance possible at the time, after which you stated you were appreciative. We are sincerely empathetic of your discomfort yet do not believe the incident was caused by irresponsibility on our part. A review of video footage indicates you tripped while descending stairs without taking the precaution of using a provided handrail. Regardless, we are very concerned and I would be happy to discuss the matter with you further, should you be interested.
Thank you for your time.

I signed up for the loyalty rewards program, which offered complimentary beverage in the morning, but my coffee only arrived on the first morning of my three morning stay. Also two of the three restaurants were closed when I arrived, supposedly due to the "arctic vortex."
We had a conference at this hotel and the Marriott and stayed here. We were fortunate enough to get a suite for a good rate because we booked early (it was equal to the conference rate for a standard double). Our room was clean, spacious, and had a balcony. The business center is ridiculously expensive, and I'd caution against using it for anything. I had to print a document and it cost a small fortune. The hotel is walking distance to some descent restaurants and an Irish bar. It's also walking distance to a metro station. Taxi fare from Reagan International was about $30-40, but you can take the metro for much less.
All in all it was a nice stay at a nice hotel.
The place has been updated (or at least my room had been) but still has some touches of old world charm. The lobby is huge and elegant and was exquisitely decorated over Christmas/New Year's when we were there. The internet is free, the room prices are quite reasonable, the property is well-maintained and the staff quite helpful and friendly (with one exception, having to do with a goonish type guy questioning us and demanding we show a room key when we returned to our room on New Year's Eve because we had to pass by a large party in one of the ballrooms). Convenient location at Woodley Metro (even if the DC Metro is continuing to deteriorate by the minute) and walking distance to plenty of restaurants and Dupont Circle action.
Very nice accomodations for a handicapped person. Hotel is historic, so can feel a bit drafty, and defintitely feels very upscale. Was nice, if pricey, for a conference. Bathroom was wide and proper for wheelchair, as was room. King bed very posh!
Good location and excellent accommodation. Easy to commute as the subway station is very close and there are cabs around. The service is also very helpful and will call a cab for you any time. There are good restaurants nearby.
