Quiet, large rooms, polite customers, polite employees... Everything about you counts... Everything is thought before in the most proper way.... I loved my week with Park Hyatt... They know how to address any kind of customers in the most optimistic, nice way

This hotel is extremely well managed and a very modern hotel. One of my favorite hotels in DC and is very convenient if you have meetings in SA-6 (Overseas Building Operations). It is right across the street.

I stayed four nights in a park king room. The hotel is understated and elegant, I loved the lobby and the Blue Duck dining area. The room was excellent but so understated it was almost impractical. The closet was quite tiny and with minimal clothing my husband and I quickly filled up the hanging space. Besides that the room was beautiful with a super comfortable bed/bedding and great lighting. The hotel might be a bit far to the sights, maybe a mile to the White House, but my husband and I enjoy walking and it didn't bother us a bit. Front desk staff and concierge were happy to help with everything during our stay.

I stayed one night and was upgraded to an executive suite thru amex platinum. The room was nice and the bathroom was pretty large. I've seen suites in other park hyatt hotels that I thought were decorated better. the suite was all the way at the end of the hall a long way from the elevators. After I checked in, someone brought up a plate with 3 small apples to the room. Not exactly a "wow" event. The hotel has a heated pool and a jacuzzi, both of which I enjoyed. The gym is well equipped. There is a nice spa treatment room and Juan's massage was in the top 15%. That puts this property ahead of Hay Adams which doesn't have pool or massage facilities and whose gym is really small. The Blue Duck restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast. My three beefs are (1) the shower in the room wasn't hot and the water pressure was low. i was cold standing in the shower. i took 2 showers 3 hours apart. (2) i couldn't figure out how to turn off the various lights in the room at night and someone had to come to the room to help me turn off the lights. (3) i complained at check-out that my hour long treatment had only been 45 minutes because the therapist arrived late and i couldn't run the treatment late because of a dinner reservation. i had expected the person at the front desk might reduce the cost of that treatment but the person just seemed to hear me out and move on. i expected a more sympathetic reaction. otherwise, the hotel is in a pleasant location and there are nice park areas to walk or jog around in the neighborhood.

This is a great hotel. It is not very close to the National Mall area attractions via walking if that is what you are interested in, but is a nice quiet place to come back to after touring. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom/shower is awesome! Room service was delicious and breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was amazing. I will definitely stay here every single time I visit D.C.

Decorated throughout in a fresh, modern minimalist way, this property is conveniently located to central DC and Georgetown. My wife and I recently spent 10 nights here and were simply blown away by the service. The competence, attitude and friendliness (well balanced with a little formality) of all the staff was simply extraordinary; whether it be in food and beverage, front or housekeeping. The bar area has a somewhat strange configuration with one long room and several adjoining glassed in semi-private rooms and communal table areas. Seating at the bar itself is very limited. Neither though detracts from the hospitality of the staff, even though the room can get very busy throughout the evening. A wonderful touch is the wide variety of meats served as charcuterie plates and selections of artisanal cheese for pre-dinner appetizers or adding European completeness after dinner. The attached restaurant, the Blue Duck Tavern, is highly rated in the city and serves wonderfully fresh and healthy, yet gourmet, foods for breakfast as well as throughout the day. I think we were unlucky in the junior suite we were allocated. It was reasonably large with features like an overhead shower, but oddly equipped. The working desk was exceptionally large and the desk chair exceptionally comfortable. However, there was no in room coffee maker and the television in the lounge was placed inconveniently to be viewed from the seating area. There were several small closets at odd spacing throughout the rooms. But housekeeping was efficient and more than willing to provide anything we asked for. Likewise, the complimentary limo service driver was always determined to provide the best of service. High end brands like Park Hyatt rely upon its management and staff to provide an excellence of service in all the properties, worldwide. In DC, management more than met the challenge: the level of personal service is a favorably memory that will be with us for a long time and encourage us to return.

A beautiful hotel with an efficient, warm and accomodating staff. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The hotel restaurants are excellent choices for all meals. The location is walking distance to all major sights.
