“good food & location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2014

This is a chain in Wash. D.C.. They have great sandwiches. You line up and place your order and they will deliver it to your table. There is a pretty good variety to choose from. There are choices as to which kind of bread you want your pannini made with. The staff is quite helpful and friendly. Great for a quick bite.

“It will do in a pinch”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 July 2014 via mobile

Let me cut to the chase. It's a basic sandwich joint. They operate in assembly line mode and they like to toast everything. They don't have anywhere near the number of options for condiments or ingredients that you can get at Subway. Nothing exciting here. You can get a decent sandwich here but be careful if you want something other than the cookie cutter version. For example, it throws them off when you ask them NOT to toast your bread. Clearly some of the other reviewers have never experienced really good sandwiches. Anyone rating this place highly has never had a good hoagie or porchetta sandwich for sure!

“Yummy good food.. Upstairs Union Station”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2014

We found " Potbelly" while visiting Union Station in DC. Once we tried their delicious sandwiches and milkshakes, we were hooked. The restaurant is reasonably priced $6- $12 per person average. Our favorite meals were the meatball sub and the Mediterranean flatbread sandwich( zest hummus, cucumbers, red peppers, and artichokes .. Yum!). The milkshakes were good and refreshing after walking in the hot sun all day. The ingredients were all fresh and delicious. The only criticisms I have are the way the order lines are formed . You go to the back and work your way up to 3 different stations and it seems not to flow very well. The people are not super friendly, but with the food being the quality it is for the price, I overlooked the customer service aspect. This was definitely one of our fave eateries in DC. They have anything from sandwiches, to soups and salads. I felt like the food was a very healthy option for us.

“Good sandwich”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 June 2014

Quick service. Good sandwiches. A little off the beaten path of regular sub fare. I would recommend it.
