We camped at this state park for six days. While there we walked a few of the trails, but beyon that there was not a lot to do. There are not any beaches for swimming. The shoreline is covered with stones. The observation tower closed for repairs. The forests at the park are very
picturesque. Nearby is the town of Sturgeon Bay where there was a lot to do. The next time we go to Wisconson for camping we will stay at different state park.

We stayed at the North Daisy Field campground and had a wonderful time. I was worried about the staff re: the other reviews but I found everyone to be very nice and helpful. Our campsite hosts were simply delightful people. The park was lovely, not too crowded, bathrooms were very clean and they had a very talented guitarist Friday night creating a wonderful atmosphere. The only hiccup in our trip was a severe thunderstorm Saturday night. Our site was on high ground but those in the low lying areas were almost floating away. Choose your site carefully. We'll definitely be back again.

Another one of Wisconsin's gems. We took one trail and got lost three times. Their signage and trail maps leave a lot to be desired, but the scenery is so beautiful we didn't mind.

This park is quite large with lots of recreation options. There are lots of connecting roads in the park, but I could have benefitted from more signage. You could hike, bike, ski, etc. depending on the season. It was quite cold but without snow when I went, so I just went traipsing through the woods. The forest is beautiful as is the rocky shoreline. I think it would be even better in warmer weather.

We enjoyed driving through Potawatomi State Park on a pretty September day. The views of the bay are very pretty. We were disappointed that the observation tower was closed -- had hoped for some even better views. The park map shows some trails, but we didn't have time to try one. As a non-resident, I don't think it would really be worth $10 to visit unless you plan to spend several hours here or have an annual Wisconsin state park pass.
