This is the areas BEST coffee shop. The Toomer family actually owns it and they lived in coffee growing countries in Central and South America for many years, and thus their first hand knowledge of coffee. Mr. Toomer used to actually fly coffee out of hard to reach areas in the Andes mountains to the market. (He was a bush pilot for many years)
The shop is cozy, yet has plenty of seating for up to fifty people. The look and feel is cozy, done in warm earth tones. They also have free wi-fi.
They roast all of their own coffee. Their coffee is incredible and is used by a lot of local restaurants and hotels, banks, churches, and of course local people.
The shop is so nice looking that it has been used as a commercial filming location for national production company shoots. Wow!
What stands out to the uninitiated first time visitor is the ecclectic mix of not only Auburn University students but suit & tie business people.
They also sell their coffee online.
In short, worth the visit if you are coming to Auburn, Alabama.
Oh yeah, try to meet the owners. Mr. Toomer was a bush pilot in Ecuador for many years. Lots of great stories! Mrs. Toomer is THE FRIENDLIEST woman I have ever met.
