“Great Weekend!”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

Rooms were small, other than that loved the hotel. At at a function the hotel provided food for and it was delicious! It was a very crowded and busy weekend, and the hotel staff seem to handle everything well.

If you have business at Auburn University you cannot beat this location. The exterior of the building and the common areas are great, too. The rooms look nice, but the shower (at least in my room) had very, very poor pressure. Also the double beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. My wife and I kept rolling into the middle. Also the bathroom was very small and there was really only one area where one person could get ready.

There is free internet, which is a plus. Staff was courteous.

Room Tip: The beds are not queen sized. They are regular sized beds. So try to get one with a king sized bed.

Spent almost a week at the hotel for business. The staff was amazing - especially in remembering your name and being on the ball. Breakfast orders never took more than 5 minutes and the food was excellent throughout. I loved the breakfast set up and the overall vibe of the restaurant and bar area. It seems there is always something happening in the hotel.

The room (Executive King I believe) was very spacious and comfortable and housekeeping was great as well. WIFI is available in all areas and I could not fault them.

The gym is small but has the essentials and the same goes for the pool. Conferencing facilities were well equipped and appointed.

Would definitely come back here!

Room Tip: 6th floor has best views.

We have stayed here for all of our visits to Auburn. If you can get a king suite, grab it. The staff goes out of their way to be of service. The rooms are clean and the location just can't be beat. If you are going to Auburn, stay here.

Room Tip: The King Suite is the best room. Huge bathroom, large seating area with sofa bed, full bath and a p...

We've stay at the Hotel at Auburn University in the past. It's a good location if you are visiting Auburn University.

My son and I walked to various building we needed to visit. Also, it's in walking distance of the Toomer's Corner area.

A few years ago, the hotel looked a little run down, but it was renovated, and everything is well kept.

The rooms were clean, and there were no complaints. I particularly liked the walk-in shower.

We'll definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the university.

Was so glad that we had chosen this as our hotel for a trip to Auburn University - in the heart of the town immediately across the street from AU, couldn't get any closer. Stayed 2 nights during Camp War Eagle (Orientation) - beds were comfy, rooms well equipped (Mini fridge, microwave - neither of which we used because the food in the restaurant's was delicious) Decor lovely and looks recently updated, reasonable rates. I will definitely look to book this first every time I come back over the next 4 years and beyond.

When in Auburn it really is the only place to stay and that is not a bad thing. The hotel is truly in the heart of the village. We were there for Camp War Eagle (freshman orientation). Signed up for the parent special which will help in the future. I do wonder what would happen if a Hilton moved into town.
