As many other visits I take at any Starwood property, the food is always perfectly cooked, seasoned, and ripened to serve. The quaint, relaxed atmosphere, and pleasant staff is one of the few reasons why I am a proud Starwoods member and will stay a valued member for a long time.

Stayed at this hotel because we were attending a wedding from out of state and this is where they decided to get a room block. Upon checking in, the front counter was extremely nice and well mannered. They provided some toothpaste and a shave kit upon request (shave kit is horrible though) and thanked us for staying here. Later that evening, we went to the bar and bought some over-priced liquor but was also treated to some great service there.

This is a decent, older Sheraton property. Public areas have been nicely renovated and everything in my room worked. The place seems sort of half shut down, though (for example, there's a restaurant, but it wasn't open). Check-in guy told me that all Starwoods have now "gone green" and therefore he couldn't provide me with a printout of my bill, which seems ridiculous. So, I had to go by the next morning to pick one up and they told me that they DO provide paper copies. Seems like they don't really know what their practice is... and it's really inconvenient and time-consuming to have to pick one up in the morning. If this is truly an "all-Starwood" policy, it'll make my choice to stay at Hiltons and Marriotts much easier. Water pressure in the shower was very low, too... perhaps another "green" initiative (but it meant my shower took 3x as long). I thought I'd give this Sheraton a shot, but will likely be going back to the Hampton Inn Agoura Hills next trip -- it's newer, the don't charge for internet (unlike the Sheraton), they're nicer, and they offer breakfast.

Didn't much like this place. It is an older property which they have tried to update. The ceilings are very low and the rooms small. Our main problems were as follows.
The Club evening was very poor. Only a few bits of cheese and biscuits and 3 bits of dried up pizza which when we entered a guy ran up and grabbed. Some stewed coffee and a few cans of soft drink. Nobody there to keep an eye on things. Breakfast was better though.
Went for a drink in the fairly deserted bar and were refused service as we did not have ids. We are in our 50s and just could not be bothered to go up 5 floors, walk a long corridor and back. Asked the manager and he just said "it's company policy". In the end this was fortunate as we found a brilliant microbrewery across the road with a much better menu and cheaper drinks. Much better atmosphere also. Internet does not work properly in the lobby. This is the only free wifi and they admit that there were blind sports and it still kept cutting out.
The area is really nice though with lovely eating places and not too far from Malibu. Would come back to the area and just might stay here again but would certainly not pay for the Club Rooms. The pool is nice but the towels were about to run out when we were there in the afternoon. Parking is free though.. Definitely the poorest hotel in our 3 week American trip!

Recently my wife and I enjoyed a 2 night stay at this hotel upgrading to the Club Level. The rooms were very comfortable with amenities. Breakfast in the Club Lounge provided a large variety of the usual breakfast foods so there was something for everyone. The evening Hors'D 'oeures were disappointing with no offering of an Honor Bar as we have found in most hotels offering a Club Level Lounge. The choice of snacks was minimal.
When staying here, request a room facing the hills other wise you may be facing the roof top of the hotel.
The entire staff was very friendly and offered explicit directions to points of interest including nearby shopping centers and restaurants.

Room Tip: Request room facing the hills
