We spent Valentine’s Day at the resort. The room was amazing “executive suite”. We had chocolate strawberries and rose petals. However, the rooms are VERY expressive and don’t think it’s a reasonable price. We were running late to our dinner reservations and we were not given our $100 dinning credit. However, at check out they refunded the $100, thanks to the manger. Wish we could have spent more time here to really enjoy the hotel since we paid a high price for the room.

We wanted a quick night away. I waffled back and forth between 4 and 5 stars. The hotel is definitely a 5, but the casino pulls it down.

We arrived at Viejas early so went bowling and shopped across the street. The outlets are nice and you feel like you're on vacation in New Mexico or something. When we went to check-in around 12:30, our room wasn't ready. However, Valerie at the front desk (who was amazingly patient and courteous) helped us pay for an upgrade to a Presidential Suite. It was reasonable so we went for it. While I was waiting in the lobby for my husband to get the bags, a different person working there went and got me some water. They made us feel so welcome.

The room was incredible! Top floor (with a view of the hills and pool) and huge! There were 2 bathrooms, a jacuzzi tub, 2 head shower, large dining room and small kitchen with drinks. There is a cool fireplace between the dining room and living room and TVs everywhere (including the bathroom). The bed was very comfortable. We heard no noise all night either. The decor was modern in plums and natural woods. We loved it and would highly recommend it!

We had dinner at the Grove Steakhouse and the food was amazing. The service there wasn't amazing. They were super slow and didn't even realize we had arrived and were waiting for service for about 15 minutes. I ordered a 2nd glass of wine middle of the meal and didn't get it (and didn't even see anyone to ask about it) until the meal was over. That said, it's a nice restaurant and I would go back.

The casino on the other hand seems worn down and there are too many little side rooms with old slot machines. I think this should be the next area that they tackle because I feel like the hotel is wasted with the casino in the current state it's in. The non-smoking area is a little better because some of it is new and I do like that you can order a decent glass of wine from the bar next to the steak house and walk around with it.

Overall, a good escape.

I've stayed at quite a few different casinos and hotels and this may be the very best. I couldn't even believe the staff and how polite and helpful they were. They are constantly acknowledging you as you walk by, the chef came out to see how our meal was at The Cafe. The food was excellent and dirt cheap! A 20% discount on all food? Never seen it before. The room was awesome as was the pool area/hot tub and mountain view from out there. Highly recommended!

Took a quick one night trip from the LA area. As mentioned, this is a new hotel added on to the casino. The rooms are nice, with large, functional bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Our room on the 1st floor had a nice patio, although not providing access to the pool. The pool area itself was nice with lounge chairs, some requiring reservation (why?). The staff was friendly and took care of a billing situation at check-out with prompt service. The main restaurant served good food at very reasonable prices. The gym was small, but I was the only one utilizing the area so not a problem!
Overall, a great stay!

This is a new hotel - it's only been open about a year. It is adjacent to the Viejas Casino. The staff is excellent! They are super friendly and very helpful. Rooms are large and well equipped. Food at property is very good - Buffet is wonderful and includes beer, wine & champagne!!! Would definitely recommend this property.

Upon arriving was taken aback by the front desk clerk who spoke very loudly. He then felt it necessary to shout hello at us every time we walked past the desk. Very bizarre and off putting.

Our room was beautifully appointed, Very luxurious and comfortable.

The casino was very crowded with patrons from buses and what appeared to be locals. We did not spend much time gambling.

The outlet mall across the street is beautifully landscaped and has all the stores you expect to find. Highly recommend a visit to the mall.

We had a fantastic dinner at the steak house! The absolute best shrimp
Cocktail I've ever had. Service was impeccable and the food was wonderfully prepared and presented.

Upon checkout and enroute home we realized we had forgotten our mini IPad in the room. A phone call to the front desk resulted in a call back that housekeeping had found it. Security then made arrangements to mail it to
us. We received it intact within a few days. Superior customer service!!

First of all, I want to recognize the incredible staff of this wonderful hotel & casino!! Everyone; parking valets, bellmen, front desk staff, casino workers, housekeepers, restaurant workers are absolutely the best!! I have travelled the world and have never stayed in a hotel where the ENTIRE staff has been so amazing! Our hotel room was lovely & very comfortable with an incredible bathroom! The added plus are the great outlet stores right across the street! Needless to say, I am looking forward to my, hopefully soon, next visit!
