My family is full of Marriott fans and we are rewards members. With that said, this one needs some work.

I'm not too crazy uptight about hotels, but I do like a semi decent shower. Water temp was fine. Pressure was awful, shower head was a joke. I normally wouldn't even notice a shower head, but this was so bad it was crazy. It is so loose that you couldn't really get it to spray in any particular direction and you'd find yourself standing in the back right corner of the tub, almost leaning out, to stay under the head (we were in #468 of the garden wing).

The internet connection blows. It's definitely not worth paying for the wifi if you're out here. There is no connection that works and you'll be mad you spent the money. Maybe it's less of a problem of the hotel is not full?

No microwave kind of stinks, but having a little fridge was great with kids.

The dining options were pretty limited, and the food wasn't great (except the morning buffet was pretty good...$25 was probably a little much though) so we found ourselves walking or driving to other places. There are a lot if really nice to really reasonably priced things around, so just use yelp to find them.

The pool is small and mostly filled with kids. It's partially covered which is nice for blistering hit days.

I will say the staff is extremely nice. The nice waitress, Anna, in the cafe was very pleasant to interact with. The ladies running the shop were both very nice, the front desk and concierge staff were great as well as the valet and concierge services. These folks do a really good job of providing a great service...so you are ok overlooking things like a ridiculous shower head or not great food choices in the hotel.

Room Tip: Don't stay in the garden wing if you care about a view (you're 50/50 on parking lot or pool, noise (parking lot or pool noise), or shower (our shower was AWFUL.)

Stayed in this property for nearly a week while on business in Los Angeles area. If you have business in the Orange Co. area, this property is ideal. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet and clean. The hotel is located close to the freeway and Disney and Angels Stadium are both within walking distances. Lots of non-fast food chain restaurants are within walking distance as well. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Room Tip: Don't face the plaza.

Nice hotel overall. The food was nice in the bar and service was great. Two things that we had issues with were the parking system and the noise coming from the outside restaurant bar area. No one explained at check in that once we left the parking structure we had to reinsert our parking ticket each time we returned. After having the machine tell us we owed $48 we had to return to the desk and find out what had happened. No one could figure out what went wrong so we just got another ticket. So it happened again, had to truck all the way back to the front desk again. Finally someone called someone and they told us we had to insert this ticket in the machine when we returned to the parking structure so it could keep track of the exits. All made sense once someone told us. Possibly other people have encountered this and it's a common practice but sure could have used someone explaining that on check in. The other issue I had (not my husband because he sleeps like a log) is that the outside restaurant is open until 12:30 am and our room was right above it. A loud group were enjoying themselves and it was loud. Luckily I had ear plugs. The pool is small as others have noted but the kids that were there didn't seem to care. The housekeeping was very good. I for sure give her 5 stars. One more thing, the beds were supposed to be queen size beds and we believe they were actually doubles. Can't confirm, didn't have my tape measure.

Room Tip: Get a room away from the outside bar area, also lots of air conditioner noise on that side.

Following a bad start to our visit - our confirmed rooms with concierge access were re-allocated to other guests - the reception staff were extremely apologetic and went out of their way to try and set us up with 2 'similar' rooms. Although we were extremely annoyed, our 'new' rooms were great and during our 3 night stay we were well looked after, and received some complimentary items and services. It is a nice hotel and the location to Disneyland makes it an ideal venue for short leisure breaks. Most of the on site amenities are pretty good but if there is one thing that could be improved is the internet access. The Premium service - when it feels like connecting - is slow and doesn't live up to it's advertised billing. Overall, we ended up having an enjoyable stay and would consider using the hotel again if staying in the Anaheim area.

Myself, my boyfriend, and his 9 year old son stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Disneyland. We did two days at the park. The first day we walked and it took a little over 15 minutes. The second day we purchased the shuttle tickets ($12 for the 3 of us) and that was worth it. We were just tired from walking by then! We spent one day relaxing by the pool. It was very nice! We also made use of Cafe Del Sol, Degrees, and Starbucks. All were nice dinning options to have on site. There is a nice shopping complex (Garden Walk) about a 10 minutes walk away. It has a PF Changs, Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza, Etc. In terms of the room, the balcony was a plus and it was fairly quiet. However, the bathroom was tiny! Only one person at a time getting ready. Also, the new elevators in which you enter your floor before getting on were nice. They make for a quick ride! Overall an enjoyable experience!
