“Great Suite Hotel for Families Visiting Disneyland”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 September 2009

We would really recommend this suite hotel for families with kids. Over all, we found that this place had tons of benefits and the price was fairly reasonable for what you get.

The set up of the suite is really nice- two bedrooms, each with it's own bathroom. The decor probably isn't the most up-dated, but it's certainly pleasant, very clean, and not run down at all. There are two beds in the kids' room. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a full size fridge, small stove, dishwasher, and microwave oven. The pool was nice sized, and is shared with the next-door Holiday Inn, but was never crowded. In the mornings, there is a really nice breakfast buffet available with a lot of different hot and cold items. The staff were very helpful and caring. One woman at the front desk helped us book a bus tour and gave us tons of wonderful and helpful information about Disneyland. This place is really "kid-friendly".

This hotel is only about a 15 minute bus ride on the ART to Disneyland. Located on the same site, there is a reasonably priced restaurant called the American Brasserie that serves all the classics that your kids will actually eat, like mac & cheese, chicken strips, kid sized burgers, etc.

We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite on the second floor of this hotel. Rooms were very comfortable, fairly quiet and clean. The breakfast was good. There is a small "convenience" store attached to the lobby registration which sell basic snacks and small items such as toiletries, postcards and souvenirs. Staff was friendly. The pool area looked nice but we didn't take advantage of it. We had 5 in our group, 2 adults and 3 teenagers so there was lots of room for everyone. It was nice that there were TV's in every room also. The kitchen area looked great but we did not use it. I would recommend this hotel. The only downfall would be that it isn't really close to Disney parks and so there isn't alot of restaurants around the area.

We stayed here for 7 nights which was booked through Virgin holidays, We had a double 1 bed suite on the third floor. The room was lovely and clean and away from the lift area, so was also nice and quite.

The receiption staff were extremely helpful, breakfast was excellent and the pool area lovely and clean, with lots of sunbeds available..

The hotel is very close to the I5, but we didn't hear any traffic noise. Great location for getting around and about.

Visitied Disney 3 days, LA/Hollywood, Warner Brothers and the beaches,

I was in town for a convention at the Anaheim convention center in late August. Upon arrival the front desk person was very friendly and courteous. We arrived very early (1230p check in is posted at 4), so weren't sure if it was possible to check in yet but she checked anyway. Unfortunately it was not, however she did inform me that because of my platinum Priority Club status they had upgraded us to a larger room.

My friend and I decided to walk down to the Garden Walk which was about 10-15 mins or so away. The walk is pretty easy and probably pretty safe to do during the day, however I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with families or traveling alone at night. We arrived back at the hotel around 330p and were given our room keys for the 3 night stay.

Wow. Lots of room in the 2 bedroom suites. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living area, dining/full kitchenette. One bedroom has 2 double beds and the other has a king bed. Also the couch in the living room is a sofa bed. Could easily sleep a family of 6-8.

The decor is fine. Definitely can tell the hotel gets a lot of abuse from the Disneyland crowds but fully functional. The room was clean. My only complain was that the furniture/tvs could use some updating.

Thursday night they provide a free reception with beer/wine and chips and salsa. Definitely was nice to relax and enjoy some drinks after traveling to California.

The hotel was generally quiet enough for me, but I'm a pretty heavy sleeper. The one exception was the garbage collection truck outside the window. The free wifi connection seemed adequate. There was also a computer downstairs where you could surf the web and use a printer.

Breakfast in the morning was quite extensive and included. Eggs and bacon/sausage, multiple cold cereal options, fully cooked oatmeal, make your own waffles, yogurt, fruit, cottage cheese, assortment of breads, milk, juices, coffee and soft drinks. We filled up in the morning so we didn't have to fight the crowds at lunchtime and could usually eat later during the between lunch and dinner lull.

Elevators were very fast and didn't seem like we waited much at all for one. The pool area looks nice (didn't use it) and the basketball court is a nice touch.

The biggest problem I see with this hotel is its somewhat isolated location. There is a Holiday Inn next door but beyond that you don't really have any tourist friendly establishments within 5mins of walking. Families should probably go for the ART (Anaheim Rapid Transit) shuttle that comes by about every 20 mins or so. Its $4.00 for a full day pass and $10.00 for a 3 day pass. They can be purchased at the shuttle stop at the Holiday Inn next door. It makes a stop near the convention center then continues on to Disneyland's front entrance.

We stayed here for 5 days when we took a vacation to Disneyland. The rooms were clean and large with full sized kitchens. The hotel breakfast area is large and their breakfasts are very nice. They offer an evening meal one day a week and evening "snack" 2 other nights. I would definatly stay here again. The pool is shared with the neighboring hotel, but is large and was never crowded.

This was a great place to stay! It is one of Disney's Good Neighbor Hotels. It is right next door to Holiday Inn and we shared the shuttle bus stop to Disney. It's more economical to buy a one day pass than one way tickets for the shuttle. Seemed to be a long wait to and from the park though.

The room was very spacious. The first night, we had a queen studio and the second night we had a two bedroom, two bath. I found the kitchenette to be very nice, especially when you have leftovers from the restaurants. We ate at Bubba Gump's Shrimp (very good!) and P.F. Chang's. The breakfast was very nice with eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, fruit, pastries, yogurt, etc. We did not use the pool, but it looked very nice!

We decided to take a trip to Disneyland, last minute. We live in Vegas. I called 2 days before, got a room, at a great price, just like that ! We have stayed at Staybridge now 9 times. Every time is a great experience ! We always have a room with a nice view, check in has always been easy, (even letting us check in early ! ), and the crowning glory for us has always been the FREE Buffet Breakfast ! With 3 sons in tow, ages 16, 14, and 9, having this available to us has been a god send ! Boys eat A LOT !!! :) We love the pool, and the hot tub, it is always relaxing. The rooms are clean, and stocked with towels. Any time we have ever called the front desk to ask for anything, they have been there to help. This is now the ONLY Hotel we will stay at ! Like I said, WE LOVE THIS HOTEL !!!
