We had my sisters family and my family stay in a suite. The one bad thing was the bathroom was in their room and they had babies sleeping a lot. Great location close to Disney and the maid did a great job cleaning and organizing our stuff. They do have a guest bathroom that my family utilized frequently.

Stayed: October 2013

Can't beat the location. A quick walk across the street and you are at Disneyland. No waiting for buses or walking blocks to the hotel. The rooms were pretty clean. Simple, but we didn't spend much time in them. The complimentary breakfast was cereal and pastries. Simple, but started our day off right and saved us lots of money from having to go eat at the park. My only complaints would be that the walls are pretty thin, so if you are a light sleeper, you may have some problems sleeping. However, the hotel itself, despite the fact that there were a lot of kids, was pleasantly quiet. I would recommend, and am planning to stay here again in a couple months! Great value for a visit to Disney!

Room Tip: We had a room on the 5th floor facing Disneyland, and saw the Matterhorn, castle and space mountain. It was pretty cool!

The location is perfect because it's basically right across the street from Disneyland. The staff are friendly so far as well. The room itself is pretty good...nothing fantastic but still acceptable. My first problem is that there are no safes in the room. For $140 a night, I'd assume there'd be a safe. Next, the bathroom leaves much to be desired. The water pressure is very weak and the shower head is pretty crusty. Further, there's no exhaust fan in the bathroom so it never has a clean feeling. If I return I'll most likely go elsewhere.

My daughter and I came to Disney for the weekend. We picked Camelot due to the positive reviews. We were very happy with our choice. Rooms were very clean. Our beds were super comfortable. They were actually real queen beds not doubles that you get at some hotels. Shower had awesome pressure. My only complaint is that the air wasn't on when we arrived and it took some time to cool down the room. The added bonus was watching the fireworks out our front door. The location can't be beat. A 3 minute walk to Disney. We will definitely stay again.

Our experience wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t great. It was just “meh”.

The good:
The location can’t be beat. It felt closer than the Disneyland hotel. The staff is nice. The beds were reasonably comfortable. Breakfast was free which consisted of donuts, juice and apples/bananas. The grounds were clean. Our room was huge- 1 king bed and 2 queens. There is a McDonalds right next door and several restaurants within walking distance. There is also a small convenience store close by with reasonable prices.

The not so good:
The hotel is old and shows its age. The air conditioner was horribly loud. The door faces the outside so we could hear people walking by all hours. Some people got in around 1 am and we could hear their kids running around yelling and the noise of them rolling their luggage by our room. The pool is very small. You have to cross a main intersection to get to Disneyland where there are often homeless people, scammers trying to sell you stuff, and crazy religious street preachers. I loathed walking past these people everyday.

Bottom Line:
A descent place to lay your head down at night, but there is nothing magical about this hotel. If you are traveling on a budget than it’s an okay pick, but if you have the extra money why not stay at a Disney hotel? We have stayed at the paradise pier and the Disneyland Hotel and both times our vacation felt more magical.
