The best waiter I've had in years. Personable, attentive & on-point.
The restaurant is in a corporate looking building so it's easy to miss but once you're inside it has class.
The food is excellent. We had salads & steaks.
I had the filet which was cooked to perfection. Others had the prime rib & it was huge & tasty.
Good job- you do it right.
I can't wait to take clients in for dinner.

The Ranch was recommended not only by some workers at my husband's office but was second on a list of Best Steak restaurants in Orange County, CA. It is located on the lower floor of an office building in Anaheim and the atmosphere is non existent. And, we were told, because it is an office building, it only serves dinner and no lunch for lack of parking space during business hours. That was puzzling because our dinner there was on a Sat. night and not a workday but that made n difference. Our waitress welcomed us with a rather long speech about the owner of the restaurant and that he worked upstairs in the offices and often came down after work to partake in a dinner at The Ranch or The Saloon it's next door western style saloon also owned by the same man. She went on to mention the fresh vegetables and where they were grown. My husband and I decided to share a 56 oz. cowboy ribeye steak. It is a pricey restaurant and therefore we assumed the steaks would be more than prime being tasty and juicy. The steak was enormous, however, tasty and juicy it was not. But the bigger complaint we have is that it was almost inedible. Cutting the meat was a chore through all the gristle and we left over more than half after cutting off the excessive amount of fat. We realize good steaks require and do contain an amount of fat allowing it to tenderize and add taste to the steak but each and every slice had to pared don to one third its size leaving only tidbits left to chew. and what we did get to eat was chewy and far from tasty. There was a wonderful basket of various delicious breads and our side dish of an au gratin potato was very good. Our waitresses service was just average only coming back to the table twice. Other people set down the food and she came once to ask if we needed anything else and then to deliver the bill. The following week we had a family dinner at another steak restaurant called Capital Grille where the service was more then excellent and the steaks were par excellence with no fat to cutoff at all and delicious. But if you are a true steak lover the best is still Mastro's with the finest meat and service. All three have prices in the same range.

Everything was perfect. The service was outstanding. Professional but warm and personable. Our server's name was Dublin. The food was incredible. We enjoyed the beet salad, chopped salad, scallops, shrimp, steak, and cream corn. Everything was so fresh and artfully presented.

I cannot say enough good things about this dining
Experience. Put it at the top of your list.

Not a huge fan of Anaheim or the dining scene for that matter, but work brings me there once a year. Headed to the Ranch from the convention center with some co-workers and it was fantastic!! Our server was relaxed and willing to allow us to set the flow for the evening and provided us with some great options. All of us decided to go with the Chefs tasting menu and as far as tasting menus go....this was aggressive in a good way! Typically tasting menu's leave me needing to stop for a "late night snack" but not at the Ranch. Portions were reasonable-not small and not huge....all of the dishes were great although I was a little confused by the introduction of what I would call an Armenian kebab. All in all....a breath of fresh air in the Anaheim scene!!!

We went here for our anniversary, OUTSTANDING food and service. Our server, Jose did a fantastic job with everything. He decanted the nice bottle of wine that we saved for this occasion, did not rush us and just did a great job overall.
The meat here is free range farm raised, the fresh produce are from local farms and the ranch. We tried the escargot, prawns, five onion soup, lamb chops, lobster mac and cheese, New York steak, pecan pie and deconstructed Milky Way. We took the main dish home since we ordered so much food. The restaurant wrote Happy Anniversary on the deconstructed Milky Way plate.
Great experience overall can't wait to go back.
