“Great Choice In Anaheim!”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

I stayed here with my 12 year old daughter for a week to see some family, go to Disney and attend VidCon. We stayed 7 nights in a two queen room on the second floor overlooking the pool. I was very pleased with this hotel! The service was friendly and efficient, the location made it easy to get to Disney, the convention center and the freeway. In addition, it has a new restaurant that shares the same parking lot that was quite good and it's across the street from a small market which is great since the rooms have full kitchens. Add a nice pool, large rooms and a really good price for the area and I was very happy with our choice.

Some have mentioned that the room furnishings and such are beginning to show some wear. That's fair, but the room was clean and I didn't find it objectionable. It was comfortable and convenient and I'm glad we stayed here. I would choose it again.

Had a three night stay for six (3 adults and 3 children) in the Queen Suite. There was enough room for all of us; room, kitchen, and bathroom were clean, and it was a very nice hotel--with all sorts of restaurants, stores, and things to do VERY close by. LOVED the Spanish hacienda feel of it! Key points: LOVED the little patio with a water fountain that we had; kitchen is a FULL (though be it small) kitchen--with a large fridge, microwave, sink, and gas stove with oven; pool area, which they said was newly renovated, was very nice--with a BBQ available to use; the FREE breakfast (served in the restaurant next to the hotel) was pretty darn good. This was the 2nd hotel we stayed in, of a 2 week (8 different hotel), cross Cali/Nevada trip, and it was #3 on our review list. Only issues we had were that they did not provide enough towels (but the not enough towel issue turned out to be a "normal" issue during this trip, with 6 people in tow) so we had to ask for extras on the first day (which they brought to our room, within 5 minutes) and the only other issue was the sofa pull out was not very comfortable--but definitely not the worst sofa pull out we slept on during this trip. Staff was VERY friendly and eager to please, and always there if you needed them. Overall, definitely check this place out--for the price, for that many people--it was EXCELLENT!

Room Tip: Rooms in front of the pool can get a little loud when pool is busy.

Great place to stay to get an away from home feeling, but in a dirty part of town. Only downside was we found bugs crawling into open holes behind the toilet. Along with holes in our sheets/blankets and stains all over the couches. Looked like the room just needed to be updated and cared for...

It started when we got to the hotel early and we were just going to check our bags when we were told we could check in early. ( nice to hear that it would not be an extra charge.) Then the pool was ready to use we were excited. We loved the charm and warmth of the hotel and the staff were amazing. For the price I paid it way exceeded my expectations thank you for the memories.

We stayed at the Hot Pepper Hotel Memorial Day weekend. I exceeded our expectations. I loved the spacious rooms that included a full kitchen, bathroom and balcony. The decor was charming and relaxing. The staff went above and beyond. The breakfast was a nice way to start the day, cereal, fruit and oatmeal. The location was EXCELLENT. I would recommend this hotel to just about anyone, you will not be disappointed.
