“Good value of money & good food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2012

I really like this place. Definitely one of the best restaurants for lunch in the area (about $7 per person). The food is the best Chinese food in the area (I tried many). Decoration is very nice. It is crowded some nights, and the service is bad compared to American restaurants but good compared to Asian restaurants.

“Homemade noodles are delicious! Good quality food.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 March 2012

One of my favorite restaurants for ordering takeout. I love the soft flat chewy noodles that are handmade. I always order the Dos Chow Mein - Three Flavor with homemade noodles. It has beef, shrimp and chicken. So good. I've had other delicious dishes, but I always order this one. It is a huge amount of food!

“Not too good”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 February 2012

It is OK for cheap price. Too rush cooking, serve in a very fast action. Not good for me, I want to enjoy my meal in a very peaceful way.

“Best Chinese in OC”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 February 2012

I have always liked Islamic Chinese restaurants because to be Halal they have to have very high standards and the food is always good. But this is the best. They make many one-of-a-kind things from scratch like their sesame seed and leek bread which is amazing and their homemade chow mein noodles-hand cut and excellent. They have the best orange chicken ever, and the lamb with jalapenos is great. SO are the kung pow scallops. Everything is delish! Only bad thing is they close on Tue.

“Good for Carry-Out”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 January 2012

I stick to carryout - the poor service reported by others and the fact that the restaurant doesn't serve alcohol are both turnoffs for me.

Last night my carryout order was ready when I arrived - 15 minutes after phoning it in. Inside the lobby at least 15 people were milling around waiting for a table (at 8:15pm), so I was glad to be able to spend 5 minutes picking up the food and leaving.

Lamb with pickled cabbage is one of my favorites, with the gamy lamb nicely offset by the bite and texture of the cabbage. Stir-fried broccoli with garlic was boring ... bright and green but not particularly flavorful. Two Kinds Shrimp - braised and stir fried - seemed like a basic sweet/sour dish - acceptable, but not innovative. And the much ballyhooed 3 Flavors Curried Rice was a melange of meats but despite having a "hot" warning beside it on the menu, was only mildly spiced with curry.

Note: American Express card are NOT accepted.
