We booked this as a late arrival mid week. The price was good ($80) and the room was more that adequate. It isn’t new, but it was clean. The free wi-fi was a little difficult to access, but eventually worked. The location is good, right across from the park. Off season price was $80 and free parking.

Reading the other reviews here, I was afraid we might be disappointed, but we were anything but! Traveling with my 70-something father and his wife and my 20-something daughter, we wanted a hotel close to Disneyland Resort that had free parking, a suite so we didn't have to rent 2 rooms, and either a shuttle to the park or close enough to walk. Castle Inn was all that and more.

I had called a few days prior to our stay to ask if we could park in the parking lot before check-in, as we drove down from Santa Barbara and would be arriving early enough to put in almost a full day at Disneyland. We were told that we certainly could, as long as we registered the vehicle in the office. When we arrived around 11 AM, we were told our room was already available, so we checked in early without additional charge by the very pleasant gentleman at the front desk.

The front desk staff that we dealt with always were extremely friendly and helpful! We spoke to three different gentlemen in all, between the phone call and in person.

The suite was huge; daughter and I shared the private bedroom with 2 queen beds. There was actually a sink and mirror in this room to avoid the tie-up in the bathroom area, which was quite helpful. Dad and bride were in the front room, with a king bed. The restroom area was between the two rooms, conveniently. Each room had it's own television, perfect for families with kids to keep them entertained while parents enjoy something other than cartoons.

We discovered a mobile scooter rental just a block down from the Castle Inn where we rented a scooter for Dad. What a lifesaver! And, since we rented it for two days, we were able to drive it into the elevator and park it inside the suite while charging the batteries for day two....plenty of room to park it and not trip over it!

The only down side of the room (#307) is the traffic noise from Harbor Blvd. I can sleep through anything, but I am sure it might be a problem for light sleepers. A very bright light shone into our window, but the black-out curtains took care of that completely.

The beds were comfortable enough for our short stay, and the room was clean. Decor was a little dated, but we weren't there for a spa experience. Overall, I would recommend this to any of our friends who might be traveling to Disneyland and needing an affordable, clean and comfortable room with friendly and helpful staff.

We needed to make a trip quick to Disneyland last weekend because our annual passes were about to expire and we weren't sure when the next time we could visit again.. =(

This also needed to be a cheap trip!

My brother and sis in law usually stay here whenever they come to Disneyland, so I checked it out...only $85 per night AND about a 5-7 minute walk to the parks. Sold!

I was thrilled when that they offered free internet and free parking! Some places are really give and take...they also had a coffee maker and a fridge for our waters (fridges were huge by the way)

The room itself is very big! We booked a double queen room so we could have the extra room and the extra bed to throw all our junk on (and just in case we got in an argument, voila! another bed! =) )

Loved the fact that the sink was outside of the shower and toilet itself. It allows others to use the sink, counter space, mirror, while another person is taking a shower, etc.

-1 = The shower was really plugged up and it was already 1030 at night so I was not about to call someone to come up and fix the issue...we just dealt with it and kept turning the water off, washed my hair, turned it back on to rinse, turned it off to wash, etc. Got annoying after a while, but we managed to get clean.

So just check your shower!

But I was really so pleased with our stay, that we'll definitely be staying here again!

P.S. The two gentlemen that helped when we checked in and out were so nice and helpful.

Side note: They do allow you to check out and leave your car there so you can go visit the parks after you check out...just make sure to ask them first!

We stayed at the castle Inn for two nights, great place, clean, Walking distance to Disneyland, walking distance to many restaurants. The last day of stay, they let us park our vehicle in their parking lot while we spent theafternoon at Downtown Disney. We had four teenagers in our room (family suite) alot of space! Highly recommend!

April was our first visit to the Castle Inn & Suites hotel. We enjoyed ourselves very much. We had a special need and the management was very cheerful and accommodating. We used the Family suite with 3 beds in two separated rooms. Being only seven minutes walking from Disneyland my daughter-in-law would bring the two children back to the hotel for a nap in the afternoon and then return a little later very much refreshed. The room was clean, quiet and we would definitely return again.

We stayed at the Castle Inn and Suites for 6 nights and on check in were told we had an upgraded room. This meant we had a jetted tub in the bathroom. We weren't bothered about the upgraded room but took it anyway! We were told there was a $6 plus tax charge per night on the crib which we were annoyed at as when we had called to request a crib we weren't told of this.

The next day when we told them we didn't have the crib we were informed we shouldn't have been put in that room as they don't allow kids in the room with the jetted tub. They told us we would have to move. We requested to stay as our toddler couldn't get in as it was up to his shoulders and we were informed they would have to ask the manager and we should check in with them later. We spent the day worried we would have to re-pack. Luckily the Manager agreed we could stay.

As we were ground floor people were very noisy walking past and our AC unit sucked in the smell of smoke from outside. This meant we got a very restless night.

location was good - close to Disney and Anaheim Garden Walk for restaurants. No local map though to show where anything was.

Cleaners were very hit and miss and we never got sugar replenished.

I would find a different location next time
