Reviewed 6 January 2013

The place looks better on the outside. The inside can use some upgrades. It has a very old and ugly microwave and fridge that freezes anything you put there. The mirror and nightstand is outdated as well as the bathroom. The room on the other hand is huge and yes you can hear the outside noise as well as the upstairs guests. The walk to Disneyland is 4 looooooooong blocks. You can either walk for 10 minutes or take a bus. The Disneyland parking lot is 1 long block away. The breakfast consist of cheep doughnuts coffee, sugar frosted flakes cereal as well as raisin brand cereal and orange juice from the machine. No fruit of any kind or yougurts. So again if your on a family budget it's a great place to stay if you don't mind what I described. You get what you pay for! If you want something better than stay somewhere else.

Room Tip: You get what you pay for!!

Not very clean
Back side of Disneyland (walk pretty far)
Old motel
Reservations for two rooms not accurate
Couldn't get in one room, night clerk asked if we wanted different room???
Night clerk was more attentive to guy with broken down truck, than paying customer.
1st breakfast, very little choices. 2nd day breakfast was better.
Black light at night stand to accentuate black light stain on ceiling for ambience (felt like a seen from a CSI episode)
Someone knocked on door in mddle of night as well as phone call with no answer
The rooms are large, with fridge, microwave and free parking, and internet
Failed to give us internet password for the two days.
great view of fireworks, however very noisy if you're not interested in them.

We arrived at the hotel around 7pm to check in and found the man behind the desk on his cell phone. He greeted us and we began the usual check-in process. We asked that he had us down for 2 rooms and he confirmed "Yes, two rooms), and then handed us keys to ONE room. When we questioned him he became defensive and essentially said it was our fault because he said we didn't give the other name... He didn't ask for another name. We went up to our adjoining rooms and for one room, the keys were not working. My friend went down to the front desk to tell him, and as she was explaining it another man walked up to ask if he could keep his broken-down truck in the parking lot until the morning. The man behind the front desk attended to this man before my friend, even though she was a paying customer. When he finally met us back up at the room (there were four of us girls standing in front of the room with all of our stuff waiting on him, at night) he tried multiple times to fix the key. He finally used his manual key (not a card) to open the door and then just looked at us and said "Well do you want a new room or what?" To which I replied "Well we can't get IN this one, so we are probably going to need a different one". He just rolled his eyes and led us to a room on the opposite end of the hall, so our previously adjoining rooms were now 14 door apart. We didn't argue it because we were exhausted at this point, and went to our rooms for the night. Our rooms were well-sized with lots of room to walk around and adequate counter space. However, there was dirt and hair in many places, and when I turned my bath water on it spurted out black stuff before running clear. The bed was extremely hard, and there was a blood-colored stain on the mattress when my sheet was lifted. Breakfast was nothing great, but it was kept full by the staff. One positive - the hotel was very quiet at night, which isn't always easy to find near Disneyland. The walk wasn't too bad, though not especially close. I normally stay elsewhere, but decided to try this place due to it's lower cost plus included parking and internet... It wasn't worth the savings, and I will be insisting on booking my familiar hotel on the next trip with friends even if it costs us a bit more.
